Palazzo San Pietro: revaluating the city through a historic original

The Fidenza project represents our vision for reconfiguring Palazzo San Pietro, located at Piazza Gioberti 7, into a vibrant, attractive area for the city. The former Eremitani convent offers a fascinating opportunity: originating a proposal for a modern public space where each generation is welcome to live, learn, and grow thanks to the others’ experience. Starting from a structured and complex facility, we have dealt with technical difficulties, navigating the need to give new flexibility to space distribution and the integration of latest-gen systems. The result is a contemporary transformation that doesn’t only preserve cultural heritage, but also increases the appeal of the original facility, helping define a new standard of sharing and liveability for the city.

Palazzo San Pietro, from former convent to Multi-generational Housing

Considering the intrinsic nature of the building and its history as a location devoted to sharing, kindness, and well-being, we have conceived a cutting-edge project to give new life to Palazzo San Pietro: Multi-generational Housing.

Multi-generational Housing is an innovative project in the residential sector that promotes and facilitates the cohabitation of various generations at the opposite ends of the spectrum: students and retirees. An initiative conceived to offer the city and its residents a place to connect and meet, encouraging interactions between age brackets that are rarely involved in shared experiences. Thanks to this environment, youths and seniors can reap mutual benefits, opening the door to precious inter-generational exchanges. Multi-generational Housing overcomes age barriers offering a platform that favours learning, understanding, and sharing different perspectives; it is also based on the idea that different ages can enrich the daily life of all of its residents.

Shared architecture: a new identity to obtain new results

The decision to turn Palazzo San Pietro into Social Housing wasn’t just the answer to a clear market demand, but also an expression of our approach to architecture as a tool for positive interactions. Regarded as a place to bring people, opportunities, and ideas together, our intention is to create an environment where sharing and connecting prevail over division. This new identity for Palazzo San Pietro doesn’t just meet the housing needs of the community, but also stands as a catalyst for positive interactions, a place where people can prosper together, creating a stronger and more cohesive social fabric.

From Old to New: how design brings new values

We have created a new representation through contemporary and sophisticated design. Amplifying the potential and identity of the original spaces has been a priority, turning this into a modern, avant-garde environment. In a project perspective, we have chosen materials and colours specifically conceived to give off serenity and calm, but also to return some joy and sense of usefulness to people, bringing a new wave of creativity and proactivity. In particular, consistently with the international notion of Senior Housing, we’ve focused on solutions that stimulate vitality and social interaction, creating a welcoming and comfortable space. Attention to detail, the use of reassuring colours and long-lasting materials help define an environment that reflects the emotional and practical needs of seniors.

Fidenza Senior Housing is the dynamic hub, synonym of connection and proactivity

The project to transform Palazzo San Pietro constitutes an unprecedented act of courage for our country, and particularly for the city of Fidenza, which stands as the carrier of new architectural and social values. This Social Housing space is a tangible opportunity for it to turn into an attractive hub for the city, gathering various age brackets of the population in one place, where both parties may reap substantive benefits.

The building is conceived as interconnected living spaces for residents, complimented by recreational areas open to the public and dedicated to various age brackets. Furthermore, there are spaces designed for work and study, equipped with advanced technologies and home automation solutions, which make Palazzo San Pietro into a dynamic hub where daily life, socializing, and innovation converge. A new focus for the city, which helps along its growth and the well-being of its entire community.
