The opening of Panino Giusto’s new store has been shaped by a completely renewed approach, both from an architectural standpoint and in terms of business dynamics. A careful market analysis is the key of choice to redefine the shopping experience and to respond to the changing dynamics of a continuously evolving market, from concept to construction. We have embraced a different mindset: joining our specialized design expertise with the specific needs of a food & beverage business. An architectural aesthetic we conceived as aimed at performance, as a response to a specific corporate marketing strategy. Expanding the traditional business hours to happy hour time, transforming the new food store into a welcoming place for an affectionate audience and a point of interest for a prospect eager to explore the after-work world.

Panino Giusto: the architecture of a Milanese voice

Our project becomes the narrator in a unique and fascinating story: the “MILANESE” story of Panino Giusto. We are the spokespersons for a brand with a clear and bold vision, a brand committed to making the world “Cooler” through its offering, while respecting people and the environment. Our architectural offering stands as a perfect ally to embody and support this vision, converging to create a unique experience that harmoniously merges with the brand’s philosophy.

Transforming a space into a conduit for expression

Bringing innovation into retail architecture means being aware that the identifiability and diffusion of the right principles are fundamental for an engrossing experience. For Panino Giusto’s new store, we have transformed the space into a conduit for expression, where the environment, taste, and raw materials coexist with functionality and the Italian brand’s vision, cooperating to achieve one goal. Each architectural element has been conceived to strengthen and spread the brand’s distinctive values, turning its philosophy into something tangible. In crossing these thresholds, patrons will own a status connected to the principles embodied by the brand, reflected in its image and in its design representation. Our design is a visual and sensory statement.

Designing retail: between interior design, architecture, and marketing

In the design process for a retail space, we are dealing with various disciplines, including interior design, architecture, stage design, communication and experiential marketing design. Touching on different areas of interest allows us to draw new life blood for innovation, and integrating this approach with a “control and construction management” process, we’re ensuring a perfect integration between design aesthetic and the brand’s corporate strategy. A methodology that allows to transform, in this specific case, a store into a multi-sensory experience, where each element helps along an engrossing narration, from concept to construction.

In designing food retail stores and lounges, we have embraced the challenge of joining sustainability and authenticity with image and functional spaces. Our approach to space planning reflects current values and market trends, creating authentic and functional spaces. We organise areas and functions with a keen focus on flows and goods handling, transforming each store into a stage. The client becomes an active participant in an authentic narration, engaged in a story that establishes a deep connection with our brand. The challenge for our team of retail designers is to create memorable experiences, experimenting with exciting solutions and shaping our visions on spaces, colours, and materials.

Intuitive design: an advanced flow management for an engrossing shopping experience

We have organized spaces by creating a layout that steers the customer through an intuitive route, designed by positioning key points in such a way as to capture attention and to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Furthermore, to transform food retail into a meeting and sharing space, we have included edutainment elements: merging education and entertainment, enriching the traditional purchase leverages through entertainment and the discovery of multi-sensory experiences.
